Food Services Industry - A Resource Curriculum Leading to Smart Serve Certificate in Ontario

This curriculum is designed as a preparation and study companion for learners interested in obtaining the Smart Serve certification in Ontario. The course is an interactive and integrated approach to learning. Lessons are one hour in length, each including keywords and a shared reading section to guide learners, coupled with task-based activities that will help learners connect knowledge, skills, and attitudes to the service industry workplace. These activities range from problem solving, written responses, inquiry, reflection, self-assessment, and includes a multiple-choice practice test for the Smart Serve certification exam.
