This children’s book was submitted to the Turtle’s Back Publishing by a language teacher and member of the Cochiti Pueblo tribe in New Mexico. The book follows Jack the Dog as he enjoys an adventure filled day with his friend Uh-see-pu. While written in English, the book is utilized as a teaching tool and is told in the language by Bernard at the Keres Children’s Learning Center, and is one we will look to translating into more indigenous languages in the future.
